Native Location:

All penstemon species were originally native to North America and Mexico. Hybrids have been distributed to gardens all over the world.

Bloom Season:

Early Summer through late Fall.

Irrigation:

Drought tolerant. It requires occasional water (perhaps every week or ten days).

Size:

Grows about three feet tall and 1.5 feet wide.

Soil:

Grows best in well-drained soil.
