Salvia clevelandii (fragrant sage) is native in the Southern regions of California.

Irrigation:

Very drought tolerant. Will survive with no supplemental water, but occasional watering will extend the bloom season a bit.

Size:

Grows to about threer feet tall and wide.

Soil:

Grows best in well-drained soil but will survive in decomposed granite and other unimproved soils.

Comments:

Salvia clevelandii is extremely fragrant.
